THE SOUL DOG PROJECT

Two dogs on a bed, one with a mixed black and brown coat looking at the camera, and another black and tan dog lying in the background, with a nightstand, a lamp, and a framed picture in the bedroom.

For the ones who saved us first

Welcome to Soul Dogs Project-Soulful Photography, honoring rescue dogs and the people who love them.

Background

A woman crouches on a sidewalk at sunset, smiling and hugging a German Shepherd dog with a black and tan coat. The background features trees, a fence, utility poles, and a street.

My name is Nat, and I am a professional photographer. Feeling burnt out for weddings, I started looking around for purpose, as my dog Charlie pawed me right in the face. There was my purpose sitting right there next to me.

This project is built from heartbreak, burnout, healing, and the dogs who saved me. All of my pets are rescues, each one showing up in a season where I needed them more than I knew. They’re not just dogs to me, they’re my soulmates.

Soul Dogs Project is my way of giving that love a legacy. If you’ve ever looked at your dog and thought, “I don’t know where I’d be without you…”

This space is for you.

I’m now offering soulful, pet portrait sessions in the Bay Area and Northern California. Specializing in rescue stores and legacy sessions for senior dogs.
